Excellent AGM

OK, I'll try again, more briefly....
I have been to many AGMs, and this ranks as the best. Our hosts must have learned a lot from their own and others' experience and, if anything, worked harder than necessary to make it easy for the rest of us. If there was any fault, it mut have been the superfluity of opportunity to excurse (excourse? excursion?) to three other towers, which took away some resources from the ringing course and from our Atlanta/Marietta concentration. Am I complaining about that? Heck, no.

Ouch

Oh boy-- I worked for fifteen concentrated minutes on a new post and had it suddenly erased without warning. Save as you go, folks.

NAG AGM 07: the Post-Season WrapUp

Now that you are all back to your home towers and have had a few weeks to reflect, please share your comments, your thoughts, your suggestions and your photos of the North Georgia AGM in Atlanta and Marietta last month.

We did not prepare a formal evaluation form for the AGM itself, so this is "free form." We would like a compilation of what worked and what did not work at this event to pass along to future AGM hosts. So be honest, polite and constructive.

Some things to consider:
How well did the registration process work for you? Did you use the online registration?
How about scheduling of the AGM itself? How about scheduling of events during the AGM week, such as Ringing Course, Open Ringing, Social Events, Quarter Peals?
Were you able to find the info you needed off the AGM website (http://ksuweb.kennesaw.edu/~mplatt/NAGAGM07.htm) to make your plans for attending the AGM? Did the information in the Clapper help with your planning?
Did you feel you got value for the fees charged for AGM events?
What would have made AGM week/weekend better for you?

If there was a special memory or an AH HA moment, please share it. If you have a favorite photo or two, please submit that as well (if you have more that a few, post a link to your online gallery).

This Blog is open to anyone for comment, and you may comment anonymously. If you were on my list as attending the Ringing Course and/or AGM, you will receive an invitation to "author" or post to this blog so that you may participate more fully in the discussion and post photos. If you did not attend and wish to have "author" permissions, just email me and identify yourself as a NAG member and I will set up the access for you.
